Charity Work
As a school we like to realise how lucky we are and to be thankful to God for all that we have. Over each year we like to raise money for a variety different charities depending on circumstances. We know that the Bible encouirages us to be generous and to share what we have. We are lucky to have such a generous community. Below you can see some of the fundraising we did last year.
JDRF
We had a super hero day to raise money for JDRF the Junior Diabetes charity. One of our year 6 pupils who has diabetes talked to the school (and other schools) about diabetes and how it affects people. All the children wore masks for the day!
We were also pleased to be awarded the 'Good Diabetes care in School Award' for our work supporting a child with diabetes.
Santa Dash
In Autumn 2019 we sadly lost one of our parents to cancer. In honour of her we entered nearly 200 members of our school commuinity into the Chester Santa Dash and raised nearly £5000 for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd. It was an amazing morning and you can spot the St Oswald's team by the green Santa hats!
