Zambia Links
As a school we are developing links with 2 schools in south western Zambia - Sankandi Pre School and Kabula One Pre School. We are linking with a South African Charity to do this. Our aim is to see howwe can help support the schools but also to see what we can learn from them and their different way of life.
Our harvest appeal this year was for donations to provide the materials to make an individual pencil case for all the children in the Zambian schools. We actually raised enough money to buy a T-shirt for all the children as a Christmas present as well.
In October 2018, our headteacher Mr Wallace went on a visit to Zambia to personally deliver the pencil cases as well as spend time in the schools working with the children and the staff.
We are hoping to build on these links over the next few years.
